How to do a delicious tarte flambée

The classical tarte flambée

Ingredients for 3 tartes flambées :

- 450 g (0,9 lb) bread dough 
- 3 onions 
- 180 g (7 ½ oz) smoked bacon (small pieces) 
- 20 cl (6 oz) thick crème fraîche
- 100 g (3 ½ oz) fromage blanc (soft white cheese) 
- salt, pepper and nutmeg

1. Grease and flour the plate which will host the tarte flambée.
2. Put a third of the dough you mademade​​, lay there for it to be very thin (1-2mm) or use your pie sell.
3. Finely chop the onions.
4. Mix the cream and soft fresh cheese (fromage blanc). Add the salt, pepper and nutmeg (pepper gives a very good taste to the preparation)
5. Divide the onions and bacon evenly over pie.
6. Bake 8-10min at 200 ° C (gas mark 6-7).
