If you want to remove images from a website because they take too long to load, just follow this step using Firefox (works in Firefox 2, Firefox 3, Firefox 4 and later):
- Go to the Firefox menu at the top left.
- Click on Options -> Options
- Click on Content -> Then in Exceptions to the right of " Load images automatically "
- Here you can define which websites you do not want images to display.
